Star Trek: Discovery Season Five Set For April 4th Debut on Paramount+

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the fifth and final season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. The highly acclaimed series will premiere on Thursday, April 4th, exclusively on Paramount+. The 10-episode farewell season will begin with the first two episodes available for streaming upon launch, followed by weekly releases every Thursday. FINAL 5 SYNOPSIS

In this climactic season, Captain Burnham and the brave crew of the U.S.S. Discovery embark on an adventurous journey through the cosmos as they unravel a secret puzzle. Their mission leads them to pursue an ancient power that has been clandestinely shrouded for ages. Yet, they’re not alone in their pursuit; dangerous enemies are lurking in the shadows, driven by an insatiable desire to seize the coveted prize by any means necessary.

Reprising their roles in STAR TREK: DISCOVERY season five are stellar talents including Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Saru, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber, David Ajala as Cleveland “Book” Booker, Blu del Barrio as Adira, and Callum Keith Rennie as Rayner. Fans who are eagerly waiting for the final season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY will have to wait until April 4th. However, they can still enjoy the first four seasons of the show on Paramount+ in the U.S., the UK, Canada, Switzerland, South Korea, Latin America, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, and Austria. Additionally, seasons two and three can be enjoyed on the Pluto TV “Star Trek” channel in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
