Disney+ has announced the much-anticipated premiere date for its forthcoming original series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Based on the best-selling book series by acclaimed author Rick Riordan and produced in collaboration with Disney Branded Television and 20th Television, the epic adventure series is set to debut with a captivating two-episode premiere on December 20, 2023, exclusively on Disney+. Following the premiere, fans can look forward to new episodes airing weekly.

The series unfolds the fantastical tale of Percy Jackson, a 12-year-old modern demigod who finds himself grappling with his newfound divine abilities. Trouble brews when Zeus, the sky god, accuses Percy of stealing his mighty lightning bolt. With the unwavering support of his friends Grover and Annabeth, Percy embarks on a thrilling quest to recover the stolen artifact and restore harmony to Olympus.
